Two lines, up to 24 characters per line. Most people use line one for the name (Happy 30th, James, To Mum on Your 60th) and line two for an age, year or short message. The font is our house Playfair italic; no font swaps in the standard product, but bespoke layouts are quoted on request.
Yes, every order has a gift-message field at checkout. We hand-write the message on a kraft card and tuck it inside the dispatch box. Up to 200 characters, no extra cost. The card is unbranded so it reads as a card from you, not from us.
The medium 970ml jar is the most popular for birthdays, about 100 sweets, more than enough for one person. The smaller 500ml is good for children or as a stocking-filler-sized gift. For a milestone where you want it to feel like an occasion in itself, the coordinated gift set (four medium jars boxed together) lands better than a single jar.

Yes. The Build-Yours flow at /build has a children's preset stocked with the kid-friendly classics (foam strawberries, fizzy bubblegum bottles, marshmallows, jelly mix) and the label can carry a cake icon, a dinosaur, a unicorn, a football, or whatever theme they have decided is the only theme this year. We update the icon set seasonally.
Yes. At checkout, set the delivery address to theirs. We will not include any pricing or paperwork in the box; the only thing they see is your gift message and the personalised jar. We send the dispatch confirmation to your email so you know it has arrived.
Milestones are our most-requested birthday job. The label takes the age cleanly (HAPPY 21st / DAVE) and the medium 970ml jar holds about a hundred sweets, which suits a buffet or office cake-table without looking under-scaled. For a sixtieth or seventieth, the coordinated gift set (four medium jars boxed together) with a hand-tied gold ribbon reads more "occasion" than a single jar.
Most of our pick & mix is vegetarian, with a strong vegan range (Bubs, Candycrave, Vidal, Kingsway). For a fully-vegan birthday jar, pick the Vegan preset in Build-Yours or message us. Most lines are gluten-free; we mark gluten-containing varieties on the customiser. Our kitchen handles nuts in the fudge range; if you need a clean batch, email us and we will arrange it.
Yes, for 25 or more, the bulk-favours pricing kicks in (5% off at 50, 10% at 100, 15% at 200+). Sweet cones are usually a better fit than jars for school parties: cheaper per child, easier to hand out, less likely to break in a school bag. The calculator at /favours runs the numbers.
